Tammie posted on Facebook about an hour ago. They are safe and staying with good friends who have power and water, now. They are going to be there until services are restored to their place.
Hello, one and all. I just got a call from Max and Tammie. They survived with NO property damage, but...
No power for 2 days and they were told 150 out of 198 substations are damaged, so it will be a few days for that. No AC and the humidity is rough on Max, but he sounded cheerful...considering.
Their road is impassable, with wire wrapped trees down all over the place, but they can hear the workers in the distance clearing the debris, so patience and prayers for that situation. The boys had to hike out to get Max's oxygen. Emergency Management knows their situation and are working accordingly.
That tree that fell a few weeks back...turns out it was a blessing for it to fall THEN instead of during Irma. Tammie says it would have fallen through the house, with a MUCH worse result.
I am going to copy/paste this to Tammie's page on FB, and their pages on deviantArt, per request. I will let you know if I get any updates.
